“Wonder Works (K-5)”

Wonder Works is the program used for English/Language Arts instruction. This engaging literacy program includes weekly lessons focusing on phonemic awareness/phonics, vocabulary, comprehension skills and strategies, and fluency. Other components included are a combination of fiction and nonfiction selections, leveled readers, centers, and reader’s theater activities. A grammar and writing component is also included. The writing prompt relates to the genre/topic of the reading selection.
